Those who are corrupt.
Ones who invest only in themselves.
Who spend lavishly.
Who want only war.
More and more war.
Destroying more territory.
Not spending on its own citizens.
But giving the money to its army.
Do these ideas ring familiar?
It’s what America is doing today.
Spending trillions on wars it has no business in.
Russia Ukraine.
Israel Palestine.
Iraq.
Afghanistan.
Syria.
Libya.
Vietnam.
All failed experiments.
Trillions spent.
Millions of lives lost.
Generations changed forever.
And for what?
To show your power.
To give the military-industrial complex more money.
To have the world fear you.
Only now the world is stronger.
The world has more power than before.
They can’t just push the world around anymore.
They keep spending ridiculously.
People don’t understand why they could do it since World War 2.
They have the world reserve currency.
The one everyone uses.
But one day.
As with all empires.
They will lose it.
Eventually empires spend too much.
They clip coins (see this thread about how Rome did it).
They inflate the price of everything.
They spend lavishly.
They waste money.
Trillions of it.
That ends up in the hands of the wealthy while the poor and middle class get their life savings destroyed.
That’s the path America has chosen.
Trump initiating tariffs with Canada and Mexico.
Continuing to fund a war in Ukraine when Russia has the capability to end a country.
These new Oreshnik missiles Russia has launched are serious.

While excess is happening and most of the population is focused on stupid distractions, our leaders are leading us down a path of destruction.

It feels like we’re at the precipice.
