Be delusional:

Be delusional.

What’s stopping you from achieving your dreams?

You are.

Nothing else.

But sometimes those dreams are delusional.

They don’t make sense to other people.

You make up false beliefs about reality that are not true…

Yet.

The key word is yet.

As David Senra from Founders love to say, belief comes before ability.

Your dreams aren’t reality but you can make them be.

The only way you do it is to be delusional.

It’s to believe in your dreams more than anyone else.

It’s to not accept reality for what it is and for you to turn it into what you want it to be.

Crazy dreams are accomplished all the time.

But it’s only for those who have them, keep them top of mind and work towards them every day.

Dreams don’t happen today.

They don’t happen tomorrow.

But they can happen in your lifetime.

The first thing you must do is decide your dreams.

What do you want out of life?

What is it?

Is it money?

Is it status?

Is it a house on a beach?

Is it a beautiful family?

Is it to make an impact in the world?

Whatever it is largely doesn’t matter.

However, it must matter to you.

It must be a dream you’ve had about your life.

Not anyone else.

Next, write it down.

Now.

Make it real.

Think and Grow Rich told me that in 2018.

At the time, I didn’t believe it.

Now, I know it’s a certainty as long as I’m alive.

The world works in mysterious ways when you have a dream.

You start to attract things to you that you wouldn’t have otherwise recognized.

Heard that today in a podcast about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s life.

His story should be studied by everyone.

Watch his Netflix documentary.

His life is a journey of excellence in multiple domains.

This guy was the best weightlifter in the world in his 20s.

He was the biggest movie star in the world in his 30s and 40s.

Then he became one of the most powerful people in US politics in his 50s.

That’s no small accomplishment.

He did it through work.

But also dreaming.

He knew what he wanted.

He visualized it.

He believed that it was possible.

Then he went to work and made it a reality.

Along the way, he had to be delusional.

He had to make people believe that he could do it, even when everyone told him he couldn’t.

That’s what your dreams should feel like to other people.

Delusional.

If you’re not scared about telling your dreams to your friends, you’re not dreaming big enough.

Dreams are supposed to be scary.

They’re supposed to be out of reach.

They’re supposed to feel impossible.

And yet, writing them down, repeating them to yourself, working on them every day and being patient can lead to some wild outcomes.

You can make your dreams a reality.

If you don’t believe me, go follow the stories of history’s greatest people.

All of them had dreams about reality way in advance of them completing it.

It was only through struggle, hard work and belief did they get there.

You have the power to do the same thing.

The only person stopping you is you.

So learn about you.

Understand how you function.

Reflect on how your brain works.

Learn about your past.

Start investing in your own education.

Imagine your dreams.

Through that, you’ll realize.

Your dreams are supposed to be delusional.

Be delusional.
