Dating is like being a bird

Dating is like being a bird

Dating is like being a bird:

Dating is like being a bird.

Imagine us as birds.

We fly around every day.

Seeing different species of birds everywhere.

But we can cross-pollinate.

We can meet people from different cultures.

Think of them as different types of birds.

For some of us, we’re encouraged to meet different kinds of birds.

For others, your parents want you to be with your own kind of bird.

Someone who’s similar to you.

But you’ve lived in a different world than your parents with so many types of birds around you.

When you go out to seek other birds, you hope you find one.

Another bird out there in the bird dating world.

As we grow older, we become more picky about the kinds of birds we want.

Some of us think we can get any type of bird.

But that’s not true.

Female birds have improved themselves massively in the last 100 years.

They used to be reliant on male birds.

Not anymore.

While female birds have advanced, male birds have declined.

We have more young male birds today losing purpose and not keeping up with the female birds.

Female birds can afford their own lives.

But they still need male birds.

The problem is male birds feel emasculated when female birds outperform them.

Is that biological?

Is that societal?

Is that historical?

I don’t know.

The male ego is fragile.

The problem is not just male birds in general.

It’s female birds believing they can get the most desirable male bird.

The good-looking, rich, interesting, loving, generous, kind, sexy, happy bird who’s their age and fits their bird family.

Sorry female birds but that doesn’t exist.

There’s not a lot of those birds.

We have a bird problem today.

90% of female birds on dating apps chase the top 10% of male birds.

While the bottom 90% of male birds see barely anything.

Not good for the bird world.

How do we get more birds to get together?

Because we need to.

The bird world’s population is declining.

Population collapse amongst the bird world is very real in several countries.

Japan.

Korea.

Italy.

Germany.

China.

Those bird worlds are not producing enough young birds to support the current birds as they get older.

They have a bird population problem.

The bigger problem for all adult birds is they can’t afford to support younger birds.

Everything is too expensive.

Inflation is eating away at everyone.

The cost of raising a young bird has skyrocketed.

The average adult bird’s quality of life is declining.

Eventually, the middle-class birds can’t afford to support themselves anymore.

How are they going to support having younger birds?

I don’t know.

But the hope amongst individuals in the bird world is this.

We believe there’s a bird out there for us.

Someone who will show up at the right time

Someone who will understand you.

Someone who will listen to you.

Someone who wants to be with you.

That bird is out there.

Right?

I don’t know.

Today we can meet birds from anywhere around the world.

We used to only meet birds close to us.

Those in our environment.

Those around us.

Birds we or our families knew.

But today, you can date any bird.

If you don’t like the bird in front of you, you can move on to a new bird.

At the tip of your fingers.

Birds have been reduced to finger swipes.

It’s hard finding your bird.

It’s annoying.

It’s lonely.

It’s frustrating.

But your bird is out there.

They have to be.

Go look for your bird.

It’s on you to live your life and find your bird along the way.

Go to different bird worlds.

Be amongst other birds.

Put yourself in unique bird situations.

Get out of your bird zone.

Be open to meeting other birds.

Whether they look like you or not.

But make sure you find a bird you like.

A bird that supports you.

A bird that loves you.

A bird that wants to be with you.

Don’t settle for birds who don’t give that to you.

You deserve that from your bird.

Dating is like being a bird.
