Jun.24.24 - Day 2096 - Lessons at 29

29 years old. 29 years since I came on this planet. 29 birthdays. 29 sets of cakes and candles. What have I learned in 29 years? A lot. Be patient. Work hard. Be consistent. Fail more. Question your beliefs, all of them. The western media is propaganda. All media is propaganda. Be careful which one you believe. Learn how to meditate. Learn how to breathe. Take more deep breaths. Smile. Search for awe and wonder. Every sports team you root for will lose, that’s life. Drink more water. Spend more time with people who life you up and make you smile. Spend less with those who don’t. Build your network early. Stayh in touch with people. Congratulate them on their success. Small details matter. Life is not a straight line. It’s not supposed to be. Be humble. You don’t know everything. Work on something for you. Just for you. Search for purpose. The thing that makes you excited to get up in the morning. Don’t stop searching till you find it. Try more things. Experiment. Reading is a superpower. Read more books or listen to them. Try 2x speed, it’ll save you so much time and over a long period, you’ll learn way more. Learn across disciplines. Follow your curiosity wherever it takes you. Travel more. Go to the opposite side of the world and just be. Understand we’re all more the same than different. Listen to people you disagree with. Be acareful what you put into your brain and body. There is no moment but the present. That’s some of what I’ve learned at 29.
