Day 1279 - Mar.29.22 - Ego can destroy you

Your ego can destroy you. Power can destroy you. Fame can destroy you. The validation you feel from people can make you believe you’re better than you are. You’re not. You’re just a person who got lucky, worked hard and took chances. Everything lined up exactly perfectly. I got someone up there on my side so use it to do good. Don’t just say it, do it. Words are cheap, actions are not. Earn to give. Earn as much as you can to help as many people as you can. Provide value. But don’t get too high on yourself. It could all disappear just as quickly as you got it. Your life is finite and we’re all gone someday. So be grateful for this journey and all that you’ve been given. You have to have enough ego to believe in your dreams but never let it make you feel better than anyone. I am no worse and no better than anyone. I’m but a guy walking around trying to figure out this crazy world we live in so other people can learn from my experience. Keep your ego in check but never let it get the best of you.
