No one makes it out alive

No one makes it out alive

No one makes it out alive:

No one makes it out alive.

None of us.

We’re all born one day.

Have a bunch of sensory experiences.

Then we die.

How you choose to interpret those experiences is up to you.

But it’s your choice.

Life is a single-player game.

It’s you against you.

Some of us get lucky and start on easy mode.

For others, it starts on hard mode.

Then there are levels to life we may never unlock.

That’s ok.

Figure out where you are and how to play the best game possible.

But to get the most out of life, you need to struggle.

You need to suffer.

You need to experience pain.

And heartbreak.

And loss.

And failure.

And rejection.

All of those emotions must be felt.

They must be experienced.

You must feel what it’s like to suffer.

Life is suffering.

As per Nietchze ‘to live is to suffer. To survive is to find some meaning in the suffering.’

Life is not supposed to be easy.

If it is, you’re not trying hard enough.

Find a challenge.

Step out of your comfort zone.

Do something crazy.

Go beyond what you think is possible.

Through that, you will suffer.

You will struggle.

You will fail.

But you’ll also learn.

You’ll experience.

You’ll understand what life can be like.

Both good and bad.

Failure and hopefully some success.

You’ll understand resiliency.

And showing up.

And adapting.

People need to learn those lessons.

We’re in for that type of time period very soon.

Life will get hard for most.

Inflation is coming back.

The average person will struggle to keep up.

They’re already struggling.

And it won’t get better before it gets worse.

Probably way worse.

What can you do in those moments?

Learn.

Listen.

Be better.

Show up.

Show up for yourself.

Show up for those around you.

Find community.

Invest in people.

Appreciate what you have and where you are.

Then plan.

Figure out how to be better.

How to learn.

How to fail.

How to wipe yourself off and get back up.

We need people who are resilient.

Who understand what it’s like to fail.

And don’t just stop there.

Life will get much harder for most.

Some through no fault of their own.

Other than they were born in the environment they’re in with the people around them.

That’s it.

Guess what?

That’s life.

Make the most of what you have.

Be grateful.

Try hard.

Invest in those around you.

In the long run, you’ll thank yourself you endured those tough experiences.

We all can.

Don’t be shocked how much humans can adapt.

We’ve done it our entire history.

Doesn’t mean people make it through life without cuts, bruises, and blood.

We all do.

But remember this, we’re all gonna die anyway.

No one makes it out alive.

So might as well savour what you got.
