Day 746 – Day 241 Q – Nov.5.20 – Give yourself credit

Never let anyone take away your smile. Own that shit. Take control of it. Because remember, moods are just feelings. Look at those feelings, understand how they really feel and remember where you are in space/time. Remember how lucky you are to have had the experiences you’ve had. No one else has lived a life as fortunate as yours. But remember, you also worked for it. You hustled your ass off and showed up every day for the grind. Day in and day out, you kept everything consistent. Consistency is good for work but it’s not the best for life sometimes. Let spontaneous things happy and continue reaching out for spontaneous conversations and moments. Because these moments will be the ones where you grow the most. Growth happens with discomfort. With uncertainty, with not knowing what to expect. That’s when you're pushed to your limit. Tackle those challenges head on because time is on your side. All you have to do is a little bit every day and you’ll see the fruits of your labour. S*** you’re already on your 3rd book of writing, that’s incredible. Give yourself some credit. Because although you’re very fortunate to be in this position, you did the work and put yourself in positions to be successful. That’s on you. People can only open the door but you have to be the one to run through it. Never stop looking for doors to smash because that’s where all the fun happens. What’s life without fun?
