Day 703 – Day 198 Quarantine – Sep.23.20 – Read

Read more. All your problems in life you can solved by reading more. Why? Because it forces you to think. To understand concepts throughout history with many people’s opinions and voices distilled. And yet with all of it, there’s a shit ton of wisdom. Not the new stuff because almost everything written now is being recycled from concepts that have stood the test of time for thousands of years. Those are the ones you want to know. And to learn about those, you’re going to have to read old books. It’s also amazing how much people underestimate reading. And not blogs and twitter and facebook because that’s mostly BS, but books. It’s truly a superpower. Over the last 2 years, there’s no way I would’ve been able to garner the same knowledge any other way than by just reading. And it comes from anything. Doesn’t have to be a specific topic or area of interest. Understanding concepts from a wide variety of people and disciplines is ultimately what’s going to make you a better person. To keep learning. To keep pushing the boundary of what you know. And that you can get through reading.
