Stop being a narrative follower

Stop being a narrative follower:

Stop being a narrative follower.

Following the narrative.

The norm.

Whatever everyone else believes.

Don’t blindly believe it.

Don’t accept it as fact.

Don’t assume that what people tell you is true.

Especially the news.

Their job is not to inform you.

It’s to make you believe a narrative.

To shape a story.

To influence your mind.

To propagandize you.

Too many of us follow the news.

Blindly believe it for what it tells us.

Turns out they lie.

Not just about a bit.

BUT A LOT.

Especially the Western media.

Look at the circumstances around the Vietnam war.

9/11.

The JFK assassination.

WMDs in Iraq.

Hunter Biden laptop story.

Covid not being a lab leak.

All these stories are narratives.

Only after the fact has it come out that the media never reported on the real story.

They lied.

This is the world we live in.

And the world we’re entering.

Where no one knows what to trust anymore.

This is why you have to figure it out for yourself.

You have to think for yourself.

You have to ask questions.

You have to question the narrative.

You have to come up with your own conclusions.

Or find good smart trustworthy honest people who will tell you the truth.

Even then, it’ll be their truth.

Everyone is trying to sell you a story.

One that makes them look good.

Or their government.

But that doesn’t mean it’s true.

Look what Israel is trying to do right now.

Shape the narrative that this is not a genocide.

That their killing of hundreds of thousands of innocent people is justified.

That killing tens of thousands of children is justified.

That them destroying an entire region and ethnically cleansing a population is right.

Because Hamas right?

Because terrorists right?

Who are the real terrorists?

Who’s committing the real terrorism?

Stories like this are the testing ground.

To make you question what you really believe.

If you follow the mainstream news, they’ll propagandize you.

They’ll convince you of whatever they want you to.

But now we live in a different world.

One with social media.

Where everyone is a journalist.

Doesn’t mean everyone is right.

But it does mean that you now get more information about a story.

Only if you look for it.

If you keep trusting the mainstream outlets, you will never get the real story.

Chomsky told the world in Manufacturing consent.

The media is not there to inform the population.

It is there to serve the political and economic elites.

To make sure their agenda is pushed, no matter what it is.

So don’t blindly believe it.

Don’t blindly trust it.

Question everything.

Learn to think for yourself.

Stop being a narrative follower.
