You will be misunderstood:
You will be misunderstood.
Misrepresented.
Misappropriated.
You will get called names.
You will be told you’re crazy.
That you’re a conspiracy theorist.
That you don’t know what you’re talking about.
That you don’t have the expertise to say what you say.
Screw them all.
Do not pay them attention.
Some of them will be people close to you.
All good.
You don’t need everyone to like you.
Anyone that’s accomplished anything great has always had haters.
Haters mean you’re doing something right.
You’re on the right path.
The bubble is cracking.
People are finally waking up to what I saw a year ago.
Nothing has happened with Gamestop yet, but it’ll come.
There’s too much evidence that it will affect the whole market.
The Internet beating Wall Street at its own game.
Even for that, people will tell you you’re wrong.
That you didn’t call it.
That you have no idea what you’re talking about.
All good.
Let them hate.
Let the critics talk.
They don’t make history.
Only people in the arena do.
Those doing the work.
Those putting in the time to work on something difficult.
It’s easy to criticize.
It’s very different being the one who is criticized.
Because that will never stop.
The more you succeed, the louder the critics will be.
The louder the noise will get.
Do not let that affect your mind.
Do not let that affect your work.
It inevitably will, but work on your mind.
Make it impervious to outside opinion.
The hardest to handle will be when those close to you criticize.
That will hurt more.
Don’t worry about it.
Here one minute, gone the next.
Remember, no one is thinking about you as much as you think.
They’re too busy trapped in their own life.
Keep working.
Keep being misunderstood.
I’ve been misunderstood my whole life and I’m not about to stop.
