Fed Bullshit

Fed Bullshit

Fed Bullshit:

Fed Bullshit.

Every day.

Always new bullshit to see.

A new show to watch.

A new TikTok trend to follow.

A new news story that makes it feel like the world is ending.

All bullshit.

We can’t get away from the bullshit.

Always there.

Scrolling.

One after another.

Keeping us entertained.

Making us believe we’re smart.

Making us believe we’re so up-to-date with the world.

We think everyone knows what we’re seeing.

We all see the same stories right?

Wrong.

We all live in different worlds.

The nightly news used to be a thing in my household.

5:30 pm every night.

That’s how older generations understood the world.

Watching the same news as each other so they knew what was happening.

Now everyone is on their own.

People in the same household don’t see the same world shown to them.

It’s all dictated by the algorithms.

The world you want to see shown back to you.

That’s how these social media companies work.

They monitor your time spent on what kinds of posts.

Then show you more of those hoping to keep you on longer.

So they can sell you more ads and make more money.

They’re very good at it.

Scary good at it.

The AI behind the algorithm has become so good at hacking your brain.

Hacking society’s brain.

Hacking the world’s brain.

We’re always on our phone.

Looking down.

Doomscrolling.

Getting upset about some bullshit.

Some bullshit that won’t even matter a week or month from now.

There’s so much bullshit today.

So much.

It will never end.

It will get way worse.

Don’t be a bullshitter.

Don’t add to the bullshit.

We have enough of that already.

Instead, add your voice.

Your perspective.

Your story.

It might be bullshit.

But it also might not.

You could create something the world has never seen.

You could make them care about new bullshit.

Bullshit that’s going to help them.

Not bullshit just for the sake of bullshit.

But unique bullshit.

Bullshit that you’re proud of.

Make something interesting.

Make something new.

Make something that’s you.

It’s all bullshit anyway.

Feed the world your bullshit.
