How would I invest my money going forward?

How would I invest my money going forward?

How would I invest my money going forward?:

How would I invest my money going forward?

Where am I right now with my portfolio and what are my thoughts going forward.

Most of my portfolio is allocated to Gamestop with a few shares in gold ETFs and long-dated UVXY options.

But I made mistakes.

I’ve lost a decent chunk of money on Gamestop options thinking it would’ve exploded by now but I have been wrong.

Do I still believe Gamestop is going to the moon while the market crashes?

Absolutely.

But it didn’t happen in the timeline I expected.

I didn’t realize the US market was as fraudulent as it has been but regardless, I have been wrong.

I can make excuses for my own shortcomings and blame external factors but I have to own it.

I made mistakes. I was wrong.

All good.

What did I learn?

Buy shares, not options. Not unless they have super long expiry dates and are close to the current price but even then, you could still get screwed.

So what are my thoughts now? Still heavily loaded on Gamestop but also saving cash and buying gold.

If I was to tell someone now what to invest in, I’d say keep 50% cash and 50% gold to be safe.

However, if you want to allocate a portion of your portfolio to a single company, Gamestop is the best bet to me in this market.

No debt, billions in cash, built an NFT marketplace, partnerships with Loopring/Immutable and likely more gaming partnerships coming, a strong executive team who haven’t sold any shares, an incredible chairman who’s built a multi-billion dollar business and the best community in the world with millions of people on the Internet willing to buy anything from the company.

As Buffet would say, if you could only swing on 20 pitches as investments in your life, you have to make sure you’re right.

I’d swing on at least 10 for Gamestop.

But if you want to be safe and ride out the next few years of tumultuous times, gold and cash are your safest bets, no matter if we have inflation, deflation or stagflation.

Let’s see, should be an interesting decade ahead.
