It's never worth it

It's never worth it

It’s never worth it:

It’s never worth it.

Suicide isn’t the answer.

Life is so precious.

You’re a miracle just like everyone else is.

The chances of you being alive are one in trillions.

It doesn’t feel like it but it’s the truth.

Don’t throw it away, no matter how hard your circumstances are right now.

Fight through it.

Show up.

Not only for the people around you but yourself.

Tough times make tough people.

Life is supposed to be a grind.

Anyone who tells you otherwise is fooling themselves.

Billions of people who have existed throughout history had a worse situation than you.

Yet they did it.

They persisted.

Go back to history and look how violent it was at times.

It’s better to be alive today than thousands of years before.

Plagues.

Slavery.

Imperialism.

That’s how history was.

We don’t have those today even if it sometimes feels like it.

Your phone is your worst nightmare for this.

It makes you believe the world is scary and terrifying.

It’s not.

Sure bad things happen but bad things happen all the time.

It’s not your job to care about it.

Instead focus on yourself.

Focus on your circumstances.

Focus on what you can control.

Focus on what’s in front of you, not what exists on a screen.

How do you make your life better?

How do you turn it around?

What small action can you take today that pushes you forward?

How can you hold yourself accountable and make better choices?

What’s holding you back from doing that?

Also, tell someone.

You’re not alone even when it feels like you are.

Even if it’s someone not close to you, tell someone.

1-800-273-8255 if you’re in the US.

The Famous Logic song.

The dude saved thousands of people’s lives just by talking about it.

By giving people a resource to get help.

Look it up wherever you are and remember that number for when the darkness feels like it’s overtaking you.

Don’t waste this opportunity you’ve been given.

Cherish it because it moves so quickly.

Suicide is not the answer.

It’s never worth it.
