No one is out there to save you:
No one is out there to save you.
No one.
We want to believe there is.
Some partner.
Or colleague.
Or friend.
Or random person we meet on the street.
That there’s this individual who’s going to come rescue you from this struggle you find yourself in.
That doesn’t exist.
A lot of that goes back to religion.
Believing in god.
This one divine thing that keeps you motivated and gives you purpose.
If that’s you, all the power to you.
Religion can be a great enabler.
It can give you purpose and drive to be closer to god.
Or whatever story you want to tell yourself.
If that gets you up off your ass and doing stuff, great.
For a lot of people, they want a masculine figure.
A tough coach.
Or a kick in the butt.
Sadly those people are gone these days.
We’re all too sensitive.
Too careful about our feelings.
Always wanting to be politically correct.
Towing a line.
But sometimes you need tough love.
Sometimes you need to be told you’re doing a shit job.
You’re a shit person who’s doing nothing in the world.
You need to hear that sometimes.
So now you can improve.
Now you can start.
Now you can begin your journey.
Every day is a new day.
A new day to try.
To attempt.
To fail.
To pick yourself off your ass and go do something.
I guarantee you this.
If you do this and wait a year, you will change your life forever.
Go read as many old famous books as possible.
Look up the most famous books in Western civilization.
Read them, or listen to them.
Here’s a free website that has tons of free non-fiction audiobooks (here).
You’re welcome.
Also, get exercise 3-4 times a week.
Even a walk is good enough.
Leave the rest of your life the same if you want.
But commit to those things.
A year from now, you’ll have completely reinvented your body, learned a ton about how modern world came to be and see yourself in a brand new light.
Trust me, it works.
Men need that.
Women need that.
You need to stop feeling sorry yourself.
Stop letting your phone distract you.
Stop letting Netflix and your negative influences keep you down.
You need to take charge of your life.
Hold yourself accountable.
No one else will.
Not a single soul.
So be reliant on you.
Because no one is coming to save you.
So go save you.
