We need a new system:

We need a new system.

America’s way of capitalism is socialism for the rich and capitalism for everyone else.

Congressmen and Federal Reserve officials are committing insider trading with no accountability.

Wall Street is allowed to shut off the buy button to allow hedge funds and market makers to re-adjust their positions thereby taking away billions of dollars from retail investors with no accountability.

Market makers are allowed to front-run all trades and create monopolies in the capital markets like Citadel has, with no accountability.

Presidents are allowed to almost overthrow a government with no accountability.

A few old white guys are allowed to take away abortion for all women in 2022, with no accountability.

Big pharma can hike drug prices higher than inflation and make insane margins on essential drugs like insulin, with no accountability.

Venture capitalists, crypto bros and celebrities are allowed to swindle average investors out of billions of dollars through crypto, with no accountability.

Chamath and his goon squad of SPAC bros are allowed to swindle investors out of billions of dollars through SPACs, with no accountability.

Wall Street is allowed to get bailed out for destroying the world economy and taking on insane risk, with no accountability.

Meanwhile, the average person shows up to work every day, works long hours, saves money and then gets absolutely ruined by inflation while the rich continue to get richer.

Are things ever going to change or are we resigned to this economic system that works for a tiny group of people while the rest of us suffer?

I hope not, but it’s our time to change it.
